*Sincere condolences to the Baldwin family, Kilkeel, on the sudden death of Conal, a talented player for both An Riocht and Mourne Hurling clubs.

*The Charity football game took place last Thursday and thanks to all who supported this fundraising event for the Southern Area Hospice.

*Registration for the camogie club, juvenile and senior players, will take place this Friday night, January 4, in Longstone Hall. Congratulations to Niamh Rogers, a member of the St Malachy’s team, and to Danielle Corrigan and Cliodhna Rooney, members of the St Columban’s side, as both schools won Ulster camogie titles recently.

*Training resumes next Monday night in the Ambrose Sports Hall at 7.30pm.

*Committee meeting next Tuesday night at 8.30pm.

*Youth Club starts again next Friday night, January 11, Primary 7-8.30pm and Secondary 8.30-10pm.

*Longstone GAC Awards night will take place in the hall on Friday, January 18.

*Club hats and the Down Yearbook can be purchased in the club or contact Sean Rogers on 07713 081713.
