*Lower Mourne (Longstone/Glasdrumman) played their second U-21 Group game on Sunday home to Glenn in Glasdrumman. The home team won by three points in the end but it wasn’t until the last ten minutes that Lower Mourne went in front to win the game. At half-time, and assisted by a strong wind Glenn led by five points. This gap was maintained before the home team struck two goals, one a penalty, and a point, all by Connaire Harrison to lead at the most important time of the game. It finished up 2-9 to 1-9 in Lower Mourne’s favour at the final whistle. Players to lead by example for the home side were Ryan Doran, Michael Hughes, Ryan McDowell, Connaire Harrison and Shane Harrison. Next U-21 game is on Thursday night (tomorrow) against Kilcoo in St Patrick’s Pk., Newcastle at 7.30pm.

*Youth Club this Friday: 7– 8.30pm for primary school and 8.30 – 10pm for secondary school.

*Mourne All Blacks ABC are holding a big Boxing Exhibition Fight Night next Friday, November 25, in Longstone Hall at 8pm sharp. Admission is £5 and everyone welcome.

*Annual Juvenile Awards Night, football and camogie, U-8 to U-16, in Longstone Hall on Friday, December 2 at 7.30pm.

*The AGM of Longstone GAC will take place on Sunday, December 4, at 7.30pm in Longstone Hall. All members and supporters are welcome.

*There is a considerable amount of clothing, coats, jackets and jumpers, in Longstone Hall which has been left behind this year. The items can be collected from the Hall any night and anything not claimed before Christmas will be passed onto a charity.
